I was looking for a bedding set to match the existing color scheme in our son's nursery. We just received it, and it is a perfect match for the colors and style. It is a very soft cotton, and since we don't need the valance (keeping our present window valance), I plan to use the material to make a couple throw pillows. The design is printed on the fabric, not embroidery or applique. (This is not in the description and difficult to tell in the picture. That is the reason I gave 4 stars not 5.) However, I think it will be a great first twin bedding set. When he's ready for a big boy bed, we're ready to go!
